DermaDiet is a mobile app that helps you make food choices for skin health. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
2. Data we collect
Account information: email address and (if you sign in with Apple or Google) the name and identifier those services share with us.
Subscription information: a user identifier and purchase history, used to verify your subscription status. Subscription processing is handled by RevenueCat and Apple.
Scan history: barcodes you scan, products you view, and saved items. Stored in your account.
Device tokens: if you opt in to meal reminders, we store the push token for your device so we can schedule notifications.
3. How we use it
To create and maintain your account.
To verify your subscription and unlock paid features.
To show you your scan history and personalized recommendations.
To send reminders you have explicitly enabled.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Third parties
Apple — Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases.
Google — Sign in with Google.
Supabase — backend database and authentication.
RevenueCat — subscription management.
OpenFoodFacts — public product database queried by barcode. Only the barcode is sent; no personal data.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and removes your scan history, saved items, and notification tokens.
6. Your rights
You can:
Access your scan history within the app (History tab).
Delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete Account).
DermaDiet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, email blakeatm@icloud.com and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be announced in-app.
